Rhodes won as a Raw wrestler and said at the press conference that he needed to finish his story against Reigns. Seth Rollins argued he should challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship instead, and Rhodes told Reigns he would not take his title at WrestleMania. He reversed it at the WrestleMania XL Kickoff and chose Reigns after all.
